A haiku from this evening’s walk

moving through darkness
quiet, my old companion
graceful solitude

A Tuesday Morning Haiku

morning darkness

swirls around

One day is done, four more to go as I transition out one career stop into another. Friday’s an ending and a beginning. I’m sad about the ending, but excited about the beginning. I’m opening a new chapter in my life. Blank pages to fill.

Recommended Video: “Hey Tim”

So, this is a bit different post for me.

A friend of mine shared this video with me today. Just. Wow! First the artistry of the film shines brilliantly. The story, though, carries it to great heights.

So, clearly, I recommend it. Check it out, then let me know what you think. I hope you love it as much as I.

Thursday Thoughts

Find hope at endings

As they’re a new beginning

Always move forwards

As I move through another period of transition, I focus on the possible. I gain energy from that, driving me forwards. Yes, there are frustrations, challenges, and road blocks, but remember the goal. Always focus on moving forwards.

Grace and peace to you my friends!

Oh Teriyaki! A Haiku

with its sweetened glaze

over glorious chicken

Seattle’s great dish

I’m extremely fond of teriyaki, and usually have some at least once a week. Everytime I start a new job or move, finding a new teriyaki shop is an immediate goal.

What’s you’re favorite food?
