    Hi Carl,
I don’t know if you’ve ever heard this, but it works nicely. Giving an English haiku the rhythm of Moonlight In Vermont results in an easy read:

    Pennies in a stream
    Falling leaves a sycamore
    Moonlight in Vermont

    Icy finger waves
Ski trails on a mountain side
    Snowlight in Vermont

    Evening summer breeze
    Warbling of a meadowlark
    Moonlight in Vermont

    etc.

    A tip I got from
    Someone many summers past
    Always works for me. šŸ˜‰

    Bill
